According to experts, the proposal to impose a new tax on mobile services, an effective means of communication in the Corona epidemic, is very unfortunate and could stand in the way of digitization of the country.
Meanwhile, there is a VAT exemption on domestically produced mobile phones and 5% VAT on integrated mobile phones. In the budget, it has been proposed to fix a minimum price for imported mobile phones even though 60 percent of import duty is still in force.
